ICYMI: KDA Ag Growth Sorghum Sector Strategy Session

MANHATTAN, KS – The Kansas Department of Agriculture hosted Kansas Grain Sorghum and affiliated organizations on July 14, 2021 for the Sorghum Sector Breakout Session, a growth strategy conference apart of the annual Kansas Governors’ Summit on Agricultural Growth.

Speakers included Jesse McCurry (Executive Director for the Kansas Grain Sorghum Commission and the Kansas Grain Sorghum Producers Association), Reece Cannady (Manager of Global Trade for the U.S. Grains Council), Adam York (Program Director for Kansas Grain Sorghum), Sarah Sexton-Bowser (Managing Director for the Center for Sorghum Improvement), as well as a producer and industry guests including Kevin Harris (Abilene), Stephen Bigge (Stockton), Shane Ohlde (Palmer), Kent Martin (Alva, OK), Bob Tempel (Garden City), and Kelsey Baker (Scott City).
