About Our Industry Partner Program
At Kansas Sorghum Producers (KSP), we believe in the strength of the sorghum industry in Kansas and the power of collaboration. Our mission and vision reflect a clear commitment to advancing the industry through strong advocacy, strategic partnerships and of course, the leadership of thousands of sorghum producers growing on millions of acres across Kansas–the Sorghum State.
By supporting our Industry Partner Program, your organization equips our board of directors and staff with the support they need to effectively represent a community of hundreds strong in Topeka and Washington, D.C. We’re committed to serving as the voice of the sorghum industry, so our producers can focus on their farms, families, and communities.
KSP, alongside our national affiliate, National Sorghum Producers (NSP), maintain strong, strategic relationships with leaders in Topeka and Washington, D.C., built on years of effective advocacy and leadership. Together, we have championed policies that benefit the sorghum industry and supported the election of leaders who understand sorghum’s value in the agricultural industry as a whole.
Throughout the year, opportunities arise for industry partners to engage with policymakers—whether in the nation’s capital, in their home districts or during the Kansas legislative session. KSP staff coordinate regular visits to the Statehouse, lead on-farm tours and help shape policy conversations that ensure that your perspectives and priorities as producers shape policy discussions at every level.
