ABOUT SORGHUM CONNECTION
Sorghum Connection brings research out of the lab and into the field. Through fall field days and winter educational meetings, growers gain direct access to the latest insights on hybrid performance, fertility management, cropping systems, disease management and precision agriculture.
Hosted by the Kansas Grain Sorghum Commission in partnership with K-State Midway and Central Kansas District Extension and the K-State Department of Plant Pathology, nearly 300 growers and industry professionals attended events since its launch in 2024, making it one of Kansas’ leading sorghum extension programs.

2026 Field Day Locations
Wednesday, August 26: 1½ miles west of Bavaria, then ¾ mile north on South Powers Road, 10:00 a.m.
Thursday, August 27: ½ mile south of Dorrance on Road 200, 10:00 a.m.
Friday, August 28: 2 miles east and 3 miles south of Dighton at the intersection of Road 120 and Mustang Road, 2:00 p.m.
Registration will be available 30 minutes before the start of each event.
