The first edition of the Sorghum Update in 2026 brings welcomed trade news for U.S. sorghum producers! As of mid-December, an estimated 57.5 million bushels (and counting) of American-grown sorghum are headed to key destinations such as China, Mexico, Japan, and others. This diversified demand spreads risk, stabilizes markets, and gives producers more confidence in their marketing decisions in the year ahead.
