Kansas Sorghum Producers Welcomes Dream First Bank as New Gold-Level Industry Partner
MANHATTAN, Kan. (June 1, 2026) – Kansas Sorghum Producers (KSP) announces Dream First Bank as the newest Gold-Level member of the KSP Industry Partner Program. This partnership underscores a mutual commitment to providing sorghum producers in Kansas with financial stability and rural community support in a volatile agricultural economy.
By joining the Industry Partner Program, Dream First Bank provides significant operational support and resources that empower KSP to represent the interests of KSP’s members in private markets and public policies. This support ensures that while KSP navigates complex policy and market challenges, producers can remain focused on the daily operations of their farms.
“We are proud to welcome Dream First Bank as the newest Gold-Level partner to the KSP Industry Partner Program,” said KSP CEO Adam York. “Working with a major partner like Dream First Bank is essential to KSP’s mission to produce outcomes that enhance the sorghum industry and our members’ livelihoods. Their team possesses a first-hand grasp of the unique challenges facing High Plains farming, gained through working hand-in-hand with their farm customers.”
Dream First has been serving communities and ag producers across Southwest Kansas for more than 100 years, with Kansas branches in Syracuse, Johnson, Garden City, Ulysses, Hugoton, Elkhart, Attica and Arlington. That’s a long-standing history of serving the agricultural sector. Inducted into The Institute for Extraordinary Banking Hall of Fame in 2022, Dream First specializes in innovative lending solutions tailored to the specific needs of Kansas producers.
“Dream First Bank is honored to partner with Kansas Sorghum Producers to protect the future of our state’s growers,” said Dream First Bank CEO and President Chris Floyd. “Our roots are in Kansas agriculture, and we know that when our farmers succeed, the State of Kansas prospers. This partnership allows us to back KSP’s efforts in ensuring sorghum growers have a seat at the table where policy decisions are being made.”
